Kirklands House, Saline, Scotland.

You know how you go searching the net and forget what you were searching for? Well I did just that a week ago and came across a wonderful home that I decided I would like to try and recreate.
Kirklands House is a superb Georgian property constructed in 1832 of stone under a series of pitched slate roofs. The property has been sympathetically renovated over a period of years, retaining many original features including decorative cornicing, exposed floor boards, wood panelling and magnificent fireplaces.
That is part of the description given on the Rightmove website which was advertising the home. It has been a bed and breakfast for a few years, but the owners put it up for sale for £700.000. As I haven't won the lottery, so can't afford it, I thought that with a little imagination I could turn it into a family home.
This home could be yours for a fraction of the price at $312,728 fully furnished.
